Korean War Memorial in Atlantic City is worth a boardwalk stroll

In the midst of an often-garish boardwalk scene, a dignified memorial to the 'forgotten war' can be found. It offers a small oasis for reflection on the awesome responsibility of going to war, and how sometimes it is necessary. It is located near Park Place on the boardwalk.

This view of the GI pondering the dogtags of a fallen fellow soldier is impressive in this photo, but immensely more so in person.
